"We owe it to future generations to be environmentally responsible."
Making small adjustments to the way we live can make a big difference. For instance, try recycling papers, plastic, and glass. Part of the reason I gave the Best Life seal to Nestlé® Pure Life® Purified Water was because the company (Nestlé Waters North America) is committed to environmental issues, such as using less plastic and paper for packaging in order to reduce waste.
Next time you go grocery shopping, bring canvas bags along so you don't have to use wasteful plastic or paper. Shop for organic foods or locally grown produce to reduce the use of harmful pesticides or if you have a green thumb, start your own organic garden, as my family and I have done.
You can also help on a larger level by volunteering to clean up a park or trail in your neighborhood. No matter what earth-friendly gesture you decide to do big or little your contribution will help make the world a healthier and better place for all of us!
