"Exercise is a key ingredient in the formula for living your best life."
By being active, you protect your muscles and bones, you burn calories more efficiently and you may reduce your risk for a variety of diseases.
I normally don't drink water during workouts because I don't like to take breaks, so I make sure I'm properly hydrated going into a session, and I also drink afterwards to rehydrate. But you may want to hydrate during your workouts because most people perform better during exercise if they do so. It's especially important to stay hydrated during really intense or long workouts. For instance, if I'm going to be running a half or full marathon, I'll drink throughout the race. A handy way to stay hydrated is to carry bottled water with you. You can always experiment to see what works best for you, but it's crucial that you drink enough to replace the fluids you lose during exercise.
